Join FaA (Fremantle Axis of Awesome) and (FoE) Friends of the Earth with speakers who attended Copenhagen to give first hand analysis of the negotiations and to discuss how we can build a vibrant Climate Justice Action movement in WA.

The Copenhagen meeting was an abject failure – with rich countries like Australia pushing false solutions of offsetting and carbon trading, and avoiding urgently needed emissions reductions. But what did emerge from COP15 was on the outside, on the streets, and in the hearts and minds of civil society from around the world that recognised politics-and-business-as-usual solutions are now dead and that only heroic, united and decisive action from grassroots power bases will achieve a safe energy future for the planet.

Tash faces a full trial on 16 March for trumped up charges of “incitement” for her role in organising the major ‘Reclaim Power’ protest during the United Nations climate negotiations in Copenhagen, Denmark.
