Darlington 350 human chain

Human chain to spell "<350"

24 October 2009 - 12:30pm - 1:30pm

The Hills Climate Action Group is calling on all local school children to form a human chain to spell out "<350" on Darlington Oval at 12:30 pm on Saturday October 24.

School kids are encouraged to bring all the members of their family to be part of the action, because kids have the right to tell their parents to stop climate change.

We hope that kids will paint banners or bring other art works to tell the world what they feel and to represent their school.

350 Critical Mass bicycle ride

Critical mass bike ride for 350.org international day of action on climate change-the biggest simultaneous climate action ever!!

Meet outside of the PICA gallery, at the cultural centre in Perth...and please tell everyone!!

Less than 350 - Sat 24 October

There is a major international climate action happening THIS SATURDAY October 24!

You can join in by coming to WA state parliament at 12 noon or, even better, grab your bike and join the Critical Mass bicycle ride starting at PICA in the Cultural Centre at 11am (and then ride to join in the Parliament action and then on to Fremantle).

With plans by the state government to more than double coal pollution in Collie, this action will help launch a campaign to phase out coal and ramp up renewables.

We will be generating images that can be used as part of the international 350 campaign and finding other creative ways to spread the <350 message around Perth.

All welcome. Bring banners & signs, noise makers and friends. Please also help spread the word about this action.
